GENERAL INFO
============
DiffNorm needs a database file with class labels. In order to convert data into database
file format, you have to use the `convertdb.conf` config file. The class labels you'll
have to add by hand.

1) CONVERTING A .dat FILE TO .db FILE
==================================
- Important directives for converting a .dat file into .db file are
	* dbName = adult
	Name of the dataset you want to convert. You can also convert multiple datasets
	at once by separating each dataset by a pipe (|) inside square brackets. For
	instance, [adult|mushroom|anneal] as a dbName will convert all three datasets.

	* dbInEncoding = fimi
	The encoding of the input data. A .dat file is in the fimi format.

	* dbInExt = dat
	The extension of the input data file.

	* dbOutEncoding = fic
	`fic` and its friends (SLIM, DIFFNORM) only work with `fic` encoding.

	* dbOutExt = db
	The extension of the output data file.

	* dbOutTranslateFw = true
	We have to convert the fimi alphabets to fic alphabets.

	* dbOutClassed = false
	We do not want to apply the class labels yet.

- Run fic with `convertdb.conf` file
	$ ./fic convertdb.conf

- You will now have a shiny new [dbName].db file in `fic` encoding. The item numbers in
	your original .dat file and in the .db file do *not* necessarily match.

2) ADDING CLASS LABELS TO A .db FILE
=========================================
- Open the [dbName].db file inside the dataset directory and add one row (preferably below `it:` row)
  with the following format.
	cl: [space separated class label fic ids]

  For instance,
	cl: 7 15
  will mean that each rows are applied labels depending on which class label fic ids they contain.

  If you only know the item numbers of your class labels in the input format, you will
	have to convert them 'by hand'. Find the line starting with 'it: '. This line contains
	the 'item translation' information. It lists in order of -fic- item numbers, starting at 0, the
	item numbers in the input data file. E.g. 'it: 15 20 1 2' means that -fic- item number 0
	corresponds to input item number 15, fic item 1 corresponds to input item number 20, etc.
